Manga Corps

My name is Brett, and this is the first post on Manga Corps! Manga Corps is a new blog dedicated to covering the the awesome world of Japanese comics known as manga.

I grew up reading Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Naruto, and other Shonen Jump titles. Manga has stuck with me into adulthood, and I want to share my interest in it with others by writing about what I’m reading.

Some of my favorite series of all time are Fullmetal Alchemist, Monster, Blame!, and the original Dragon Ball. I’ll definitely be writing about all of those (and more) in the future.

I hope that readers will be able to find new series that interest them, learn more about their favorite manga artists, and enjoy this wonderful hobby together.

My intent is to publish essays regularly on what I’m reading, manga artist spotlights, personal stories, and deep dive reviews of series.
